Quiddi("us", "we", or "our") operates the https://quiddi.org website (the "Site" or the "Service"). Therefore, we are the data controller of your personal data.
We respect the privacy of anyone and everyone who uses the Quiddi Site and/or Service. This Privacy & Cookie Policy (this Policy) informs you of our policies with regards to the data we collect about you, how you use the site (the Site) or Quiddi service (the Service), how we store and use that data and the choices you have associated with that data.

If you have shared your data with a Quiddi client, and that Quiddi client has shared your data with us, you should contact the Quiddi client to review their privacy policy, and note that the provisions of paragraphs 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 shall apply to the use of your personal data. In such and similar circumstances, we are the processor of your personal data and the Quiddi client is the data controller.

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.
Personal Data

If your employer has registered with us instead of you, you may still register to use the Site and/or Services, and you also must provide us with your personally identifiable information such as name and email address. Once you have successfully registered, you will be provided with a password to access your account. You agree to keep confidential and not disclose to any other individual or individuals the username and password related to your Quiddi account.
When you contact us via post or email or chat or through our contact form on our Site or telephone, we may maintain a record of the correspondence and/or record of the telephone call we have with you.
All personal data that you provide must be complete, true and accurate. You must not register under anyone else's name. If you provide us with false or inaccurate data, and we identify or suspect fraud, we will record and/or report this. In addition, we may search for information on you as part of our due diligence process to ensure we comply with anti-money laundering laws and legislation.
By submitting your personal information, you consent to the collection, use and transfer of your information in accordance with the terms of this Policy.

8. Data retention
(a) We will retain your personal data for as long as you remain a customer of the Service and for 6 months after you cease to be a customer for audit purposes and to respond to any queries you may have about your account, data or usage, except where we are required to retain your personal data for taxation or accounting purposes, for a longer duration.
(b) We shall retain your email address until you opt out of receiving communications via email by contacting us or by clicking unsubscribe links in our emails.
(c) If you contacted us with a question or comment, we shall retain your personal data following such contact to respond to any further queries you might have.
(d) If we have received your personal data from a Quiddi client, we shall retain that personal data in accordance with the instructions we receive from the Quiddi client.
9. General provisions and severability
(a) If any provision of this Policy is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable or invalid, then such provision shall be construed, as closely as possible, to reflect the intentions of the parties and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
(b) This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of State of California, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of the United States of America.
10. Changes to this Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes to this Policy will be published here on this page and, when appropriate, a prominent notice will be displayed on the Site and/or an e-mail notification will be sent out, prior to the change becoming effective.
